The CFDA Awards, which was held last night in N.Y.C., is definitely one of the biggest and most important events in fashion. The annual awards ceremony recognizes and honors some of the most talented American fashion designers of the year and Oscar de la Renta, Vera Wang, and Ralph Lauren were just a few that received awards.

Unlike most red carpet shows, you won't see any fashion misses here. In fact, it's the one red carpet event where EVERYONE makes sure to bring out their closet's best. But I have to say some of my favorite styles of the night definitely came from a few of our fellow Latina celebs. Check out some of the best dressed from the fashionable event below!

Apparently Eva Longoria has joined the club of celebrities who like to leave the house without underwear on. In fact, she had a pretty mortifying experience at the premiere of the Jimmy P. Psychotherapy Of A Plains Indian during the Cannes Film Festival last week. While trying to go down a flight of stairs her semi-sheer mint colored dress flew up, leaving her girly parts out for all the world to see. Oh and of course it was all caught on camera! She must have been absolutely horrified. Seriously, what's up with celebs going commando on the red carpet?

Okay, so I have a confession to make: Every year I watch the Billboard awards, but I don't just watch it for the music or to see who wins what award. What I really care about is what everyone was wearing. And last night at the 2013 Billboard Awards, quite a few of my favorite celebs dressed to impress. I was actually surprised at how many of them got it right, especially considering how easy it is go wrong at award shows. Check out some of my favorite looks from the night below!

What in the world was Kim Kardashian wearing last night? The reality star showed up with boyfriend Kanye West to the Met Costume Institute Ball in a super strange, long-sleeved floral dress that featured a thigh-high slit, oh and wait for it … perfectly matching shoes too! I'm sorry, but I've officially given up on Kim when it comes to her maternity style. This is by far, the craziest thing I've ever seen the girl wear. The only nice part about it was how it hugged her belly bump, but other than that it was a complete fashion miss.

The red carpet at tonight's 2013 Billboard Latin Music Awards in Miami, Florida was certainly filled with style. A number of our stars definitely dressed to impress. Even though the award show is meant to honor some of the best artists in Latin music, I swear sometimes that I watch it mainly for the fashion. Salma Hayek hit the red carpet for a Sony Pictures Entertainment event on Wednesday in a strange head-to-toe aqua blouse and pants ensemble that really left me puzzled. When it comes to fashion, the Mexican actress usually knows what she's doing. In fact, not only does she know how to dress for her amazing curves, but she does it with such elegance. Not to mention, her husband, Francois-Henri Pinault does happen to run PPR, the corporate parent to some of fashion's best-known luxury brands. But I have to admit, this time around Salma left me a bit disappointed.  The most frightening part about it is that the super bright, 70s inspired suit sort of looks like something Carol Brady wore on an episode of "The Brady Bunch." And that my friends is NEVER a good thing. What the heck was she thinking?

If there's one thing you can certainly look forward to seeing at the MTV Movie Awards, it's the fashion. There may not be any glamorous couture gowns like the ones you'd see at the Oscars, but some of our best dressed stars still brought it to the red carpet. I have to admit I was actually pretty impressed by some of the looks I saw last night from Zoe Saldana's leggy floral number to Selena Gomez's edgy gold minidress (even Kim Kardashian's brought some sexy to pregnancy with a black maternity dress), our celebs really hit the style mark this year. Our stars were looking especially sharp at tonight's 2013 Kids Choice Awards. I always look forward to the show's light-hearted humor, amazing musical performances and of course--the slim moments! Tonight's red carpet at the 85th Oscar Awards was full of so many stylish stars ... but I have to say, I was a little disappointed to see that not a lot of my favorite Latina celebs made it out. Even so, there were two lovely ladies that definitely worked their fashion magic and I honestly wouldn't expect anything less, considering the Oscars is one of the most fashionable nights in Hollywood.
