What in the world was Jennifer Lopez wearing over at the Tommy Hilfiger and Top Shop openings in West Hollywood on Wednesday night? The pop singer and actress normally blows me away with her exquisite style and fashion-forward outfits, but not even J.Lo herself was able to pull off this incredibly bizarre silver mosaic dress. I guess even she can miss the fashion mark every once in a while.

Why is this ensemble all wrong? For one, the thick and unflattering garment drowned her killer curves. The print was kind of overwhelming and to top it off she chose to wear it with black opaque tights and orange and leather peep toe platforms. Peep toes and stockings? Definitely a fashion NO! While this look was certainly not one of Jennifer's best, she's definitely has had her fair share of stylish moments. In fact I'm going to let this epic fashion fail slide, because we're all entitled to a down day, right?
