Dear J.Lo: Please keep wearing panties!

Jennifer Lopez has been wearing a whole lot of white gowns lately, but the one she was recently sporting at the premiere of her new movie, Parker (with Jason Statham) is definitely the raciest one I've seen all month. In fact, after taking a second glance I noticed that the former American Idol judge's white Kaufmanfranco dress featured a sheer back and sheer side panels that  really made it impossible to wear undies, which probably meant she didn't wear any underwear that night. I have to tell you I really don't know how these ladies do it. You couldn't pay me enough money to leave my house without underwear for a whole LOT of reasons.

Yes, J.Lo looked great! But have we learned nothing from the terrible wardrobe malfunction Adrienne Bailon experienced last spring? Her ruffled dress slipped to the left and everyone and their mother caught a glimpse of her goods. Sorry, but there's absolutely nothing cute about that. If you still don't see what the big deal is, check out a few reasons why you should always keep your panties on (at least whenever you're out in public)!

Reason #1: Because you might find a picture of your panty-less vag all over the Internet (lesson learned, Anne Hathaway). And with the iPhone's improved zoom technology anyone can easily get an up close and personal peek, take a shot, and bam it's on Instagram!

Reason #2: There's a reason why your mamá warned you to never leave the house without clean underwear. So leaving the house without ANY underwear has to be worse. There's something incredibly gross and unhygienic about not wearing panties out in public. Polluted air, dirty cab seats, I can't imagine any of that being good for your vagina. Can you?

Reason #3: What if you get your period? Okay, fine, most of us keep track of our menstrual cycles, but for the most part we're not all that regular. Not to mention if you're on the pill you can suddenly and very unexpectedly get it, and then guess what? You're in trouble...

Reason #4: Because you never know if you'd get into a car accident. Hey it could happen, if not a car accident another tragic event that will mean you'd have to race to the emergency room. And just think about how awkward that's going to be for you if you don't have any underwear on.

Reason #5: Because you never know who you might run into. An ex, an old friend, a former employer, maybe even a potential new employer. And believe me one flash of your va-jay-jay could make it the most mortifying moment of your life.

So, I advise you, J.Lo, please try to always wear undies! It's for your own good.
