Glam 1920s-inspired dresses perfect for the holidays

Salma Hayek dazzled at the 2012 British Fashion Awards this week in London wearing an ultra-chic 1920s-inspired black fringe dress. She finished off her vintage look with a classic updo, minimal accessories and a bright, berry pout. The roaring 20s has always been one of my favorite eras, for the jazz, the literature, the art and--best part--the fashion!

This era is undeniably one of the most important years in women's fashion. The glamorous styles were not just a trend but a statement that gave birth to a new and independent kind of woman. With the new Great Gatsby movie set to come out next year, the fashionable 20s are making a comeback--and right on time for the holidays! I like the strapless fringe hem dresses but for myself it would probably fall right off, so I'd have to be realistic and go with something like the beaded strap dress.

I like them all.
