It's official, Kate Middleton, is expecting her first royal baby! After months of speculation, she and Prince William released a statement, sharing their happy news:

Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry and members of both families are delighted with the news.

How exciting! The announcement also went on to explain that The Duchess was admitted to the hospital today with the condition Hyperemesis Gravidarum, best described as extreme morning sickness. She is expected to stay there for a few days with Prince William by her side and then return home for a period of rest after.

Wow, I can't believe it's FINALLY been confirmed. I'm so happy for the two of them, although if their wedding was any indication, I can't imagine the frenzy they will now face having made the news official. The Twittersphere has already exploded, with the hashtag #royalbaby and the phrase "Kate Middleton is pregnant" both at the top of the trending list.

Still, at least William and Kate can take some comfort knowing they are not the only ones with all eyes on them. We feel equally as obsessive about  the people on our list of Latin royalty, which includes everyone from actual queens and kings to the reigning Hollywood stars! Check it out below:
