School has 24 sets of twins in the first grade, sets improbable world record!

For some reason, the Guinness Book of World Records seems to be a big deal among the younger set. I remember kids really being into it when I was a youngster and the fascination with the book continues to this day with middle school students like twins, Luke and Ryan Novosel of Wilmette, Illinois.

The boys like many kids before them poured over the pages hoping to find a way to beat one of the published records, but unlike most  kids or adults for that matter, they were actually able to do it. They, along with 23 other sets of twins at their school and in their grade, are setting a new world record. That's right: The boys go to Highcrest Middle School, which boasts of 24 sets of twins in the fifth grade.

Crazy teachers inappropriately strip-search 28 students over a cell phone, are totally out of line!

A local school board is launching an investigation into Quebec's Cap-Jeunesse High School after staff reportedly strip searched 28 high school students in order to find a cell phone during one of this year's final exams.

Apparently, the students were ordered to put their phones on a desk at the front of the class in order to prevent cheating, but one phone was still unaccounted for. Instead of simply calling the missing cell like any logical person would do however, teachers decided to locate it by asking the sophomores to remove their clothes! What?!

Marlene Hodge, who is now 52 years old, was a boarding student at the New York School for the Deaf. When she was only 7 years old, Joe Casucci, who was the dorm father at the school, allegedly crawled into bed and molested her.

Students suspended for twerking are unfairly banned from graduation (VIDEO)

Dozens of San Diego area high school students have been suspended and banned from both prom and graduation after using school equipment to film a twerking video.

According to reports, 30 students in a media class at Scripps Ranch High School danced in the video, while one used school property to videotape the group. Later, the student used school editing equipment to add music and post the clip to YouTube. Now, all 33 students have been suspended for at least five days and any students who were seniors could also be prohibited from attending their prom or walking at commencement.

Okay, is it just me or does this punishment seem kinda extreme and unfitting of the "crime?"

Oregon school's horrifying shooting drill leaves teachers understandably traumatized

Last Friday, teachers at a rural Oregon charter school got the scare of a lifetime when two masked men wearing hoodies and wielding handguns burst into one of their meetings and opened fire. After a few heart pounding seconds, the teachers realized that the "bullets" were actually blanks and that the whole thing was part of a drill designed to test their preparation for an attack by shooters (which, in this case, were actually fellow staff members).

Oh my god! I'm all for being prepared, but do you really have to scare the bejeezus out of everybody to do it? Thankfully, no students were present at the time as they had an in-service day at home. But still, that sounds absolutely traumatic.
