6 Ways to melt-proof your makeup

Just because it's getting warmer, doesn't mean we need to walk around like we just stepped out of a hot yoga class. Save or Splurge? Tinted moisturizers are put to the test

If I could describe my beauty style in one word it would be: minimalist. I'm the type of person too impatient to put on a full face of makeup so any shortcuts I can take are ideal, which is why I LOVE tinted moisturizer. Whoever came up with the concept of mixing a moisturizer and foundation in one product was a GENIUS.

Thankfully I was lucky enough to try out Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 - Oil-Free ($43) and Covergirl Smoothers SPF 15 Tinted Moisturizer BB Cream ($6), and the results were close. So which product did I favor in the end? Read on to find out!

5 Guys do their own makeup & you won't believe the results

Nothing annoys me more than when my boyfriend complains about me taking too long to do my makeup. Men swear it can't be that hard, that is until they're challenged to try it themselves. Buzzfeed organized a genius challenge where they asked five men to try to doll themselves up with makeup and get it done in less than 10 minutes. The men were given foundation, concealer, bronzer, blush, eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, and lipstick to achieve their looks--and they had to swear that they had NEVER done their makeup before. By the looks of it I'm guessing neither one of them was lying, because the results were just as horrifying as they were funny. That's what they get for talking about something they REALLY know nothing about!

Save or splurge? Affordable gel eyeliners that stay put

Anyone that knows me well knows I rarely leave the house without my signature cat-eye. It's my go-to eye makeup look, simply because it instantly makes my eyes look bright and wide-awake without having to really do much else. But I have to warn you, chicas, this isn't the easiest look to pull off. In fact, for years I've been cheating by using precision point liquid liners, until I discovered that gel eyeliners hold for much, MUCH longer. So I decided to finally give them a chance and tested out the cult favorite, Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner ($23) versus the more affordable L'Oréal Paris Infallible Lacquer Liner 24 H ($10). Who won? Read on to find out!

Women who wear makeup to the gym are ridiculous, here's why

I'm all for looking cute at the gym, but wearing a full-face of makeup is just straight up ridiculous to me. But it looks like a large percentage of women disagree, because according to the Daily Mail, 26 percent of women go to the gym decked out in makeup. Want to hear the worst part? These same women don't exercise as hard because they don't want to "ruin" their look. Seriously, then why are you even working out?
