I'm not a hairy woman by any means. I don't have a lot of arm hair. I don't have hair on my lower back like some chicks I know. I don't even have side burns. I was, however, born with long, thick brows that came with a little somethin' somethin' in the middle. Yes, I inherited my dad's famous unibrow and believe me, it came along with years of bullying and mean kids in junior high school telling me I was ugly. BUT it was also a beautiful blessing in disguise because now I have brows that most women these days could only dream of!
I've learned over the years that eyebrows can either make or break your face. In junior high school I sported pencil-thin brows that made me look like a crazy person. It took a while for me to finally embrace my naturally thick and long brows which perfectly compliment my big eyes. The truth is, big, bold brows aren't going anywhere. In fact, I'm pretty sure they're here to stay!
If there's one thing I'm anal about, it's my eyebrows. Maybe it's because my naturally thick and long brows require high maintenance or maybe I've seen too many bad brows in my lifetime. I've never noticed before how thin Nicole Richie's eyebrows were until recently.
