There are so many reasons to love the spring, but, for me, one of the main reason is shoes.  Don't get me wrong, I love shoes all year.  But there's something about a sexy slingback or a sassy sandal that I just can't resist.

The other great thing is that I usually have a lot of parties to go to in spring.  From comuniones to bautismos and weddings (and, let's not forget company picnics and Sundays at the park), there are all kinds of reasons to stock up on cute, breezy (and sometimes fancy!) shoes.

EVENT: Girl's Night Out

Two pairs I absolutely have to have are these SM New York Sequined Dress Shoe in Rose Gold and this amazing Royal Blue Pump with rhinestones on the heel.  Both are straight from the Sears' Spring Shoe Fashion Guide.  Where do I begin to gush?  They make my legs look amazing and I feel SO tall in them.  They are sexy with all the beautiful sequins and I literally sparkle when I walk into a room. 

EVENT:  A Casual Birthday Lunch

For more of a daytime celebration, one style I love in spring time is a sailor outfit.  No need to go too crazy… just some horizontal stripes and a pretty white skirt.  These Kardashian Kollection sandals are absolutely perfect to complete that look… gorgeous red patent-leather straps that criss-cross the cork-look heel… I'm in love.

EVENT:  Taking the Kids to the Park
