There is a fine line between a romantic gesture and obsessive impulsive behavior. A Russian woman named Lesya met tattoo artist, Ruslan Toumaniantz online and apparently, they fell completely head over heels in love with each other after just one date. How in love exactly?
She had him tattoo his name across her face 24 hours later, and then the couple got engaged just a week later. If you're reading this with your jaw on the floor, don't worry, I did too...
I'm a hopeless romantic. I think it's cute when a guy goes for a John Cusack-type of moment outside my window with a boombox (note to all potential boyfriends). Um, but tattooing anyone's name across my face? No thanks!

According to UPI.com, Leysa was super excited to have Ruslan's tattooed across both of her cheeks. She claims it's a symbol of their eternal devotion to each other and eventually wants him to cover her entire body in tattoos.
Alas, no love story is complete without a dark and sordid past. It turns out, Ruslan was ALMOST sued for everything he is worth after becoming famous for tattooing the face of an 18-year-old Belgian girl named Kimberley Vlaeminckin back in 2009. Kimberley requested three stars inked on her face, but fell asleep while Ruslan was working and ended up with 56 of them instead. Lucky for Reslan, she later admitted that she DID indeed ask for 56 stars, but was afraid of her father's reaction.
Well, here's to hoping that Lesya (unlike Kimberley) doesn't change her mind about her face art OR her feelings towards Ruslan. As crazy as this story sounds, maybe it really is true love at first sight, right? Either way, a tattoo of a lover's name is most definitely not in the cards for me--on my face or ANYWHERE else!
