Motherly love is unconditional and passes no judgment as one dog has proven by nursing kittens. The pooch, Chloe, had puppies in August but once they no longer needed her, she turned to help the family cat, Momma Cat, with her kittens. Their owner, Rebecca Thomas of Luttrell, Tennessee, recalls thinking that the kittens would not respond well to Chloe trying to feed them because she was not their biological mother. Much to her surprise, one of the kittens latched on to Chloe and found that she was able to nurse with ease.
According to Thomas, Chloe has always had a mommy instinct to her which is why she's not surprised that she took on the role of mother to these kittens. And surprisingly, Momma Cat isn't even jealous!
There's nothing better than babies…except babies and cute French Bulldog puppies. You can thank Pennsylvania French Bulldog breeder, Cindy Clarke, for taking the most heart-warming pictures of her 3-month-old baby, Austin, snuggled up to her French Bulldog puppies, Penny, Sophie, and Hannah who were only weeks old at the time. The pictures went viral this week prove that when you combine babies and puppies together, you create one excellent internet sensation.
Clark says the images were taken last November and that the idea to use the puppies as a prop was a spur of the moment decision. And they're so irresistible! Seriously, if you don't believe us, you NEED to see the picture of the baby with the three puppies cuddled up around him.
A 10-month-old puppy has a lot to be grateful for today after he was tied to train tracks and had a frightening close call with a train. The poodle-terrier mix was placed in danger after his 78-year-old owner did not want to keep him and decided to tie him to train tracks as a means to get rid of him.
However, the puppy--whose name is Banjo-- is safe now after the train engineer spotted him and his owner from a distance. This allowed him to brake in time and avoid any fatalities. Whew!

An 11-year-old boy was playing with his caged dog last Friday in his home in Florida when the animal grabbed his hand and wouldn't let go. The boy's older brother whacked the dog with a stick, but by then the Malamute-wolf mix had already bitten off the child's pinky finger and swalled it whole. I can only imagine how terrifying the whole ordeal must have been for Fernando Brignoni, but the shocking thing his father did next must have been even more devastating.

Apparently, two stray German Shepherd mixes, Ben and Jade, had stuck together for years, roaming the streets of Terre Haute, Indiana for a long time before getting taken in by the Humane Society Shelter when Jade was giving birth to puppies. Throughout the whole ordeal, they remained side by side. But eventually, Ben was adopted by local couple Courtney and Jason Lawler and the two had to be separated. The pooch was left devastated--which is why, about three weeks after his adoption, he decided to take action.

Service dogs are generally known to help out people with disabilities, but did you know that some can even help change diapers? It sounds bizarre but for Orca, a golden retriever service dog, this is one of his many duties when helping out his owner Cheryl Alexander. Alexander, of Yorkshire, England, has Reflex Neurovascular Dystrophy and has had Orca's help since 2003. So when she recently had a baby, Orca knew that he would need to lend her a helping hand--even when it came to diaper duty.
Alexander suffers pain from her health condition which sometimes keeps her from bending or doing other tasks. That's where her handy helper, Orca comes in and it turns out that there are few dogs out there who are as well trained to accomplish what he does.
Puppies are always cute and cuddly, but sometimes, they can also be downright hilarious.
Take for example, little Pacino.
In the super funny video below, viewers can see him sitting on the kitchen floor as his owners try to teach him how to catch a toy. As he waits for the woman to throw it his way, Pacino stares at her with fierce intensity. You can practically hear him thinking "I can do this, I can do this, I can do this." He even leans his whole little body forward in anticipation!
But alas, when the big moment comes, he eyes, leaps ... and falls completely backwards. Haha, awww! Have you ever seen anything cuter in your life? Well, at least he tried!
