Poor Ricky Martin! But, oh, to be one of his lucky neighbors! The pop icon was stuck outside his house--in nothing but his underwear! What happened, he revealed via Twitter, was that he was outside and the door to his N.Y.C. apartment suddenly closed behind him early in the morning--leaving him out in the hallway practically naked, in just his skivvies.

The Latino superstar has just signed a "talent holding deal" with Universal Television--the force behind The Office, Smash and other TV favorites--to "develop and star in his first network television series and specials."

What's this all mean? Basically, a LOT more Ricky Martin to love! And I am definitely very excited about that.

Y es que desde que los latinos se han convertido en un boom en los Estados Unidos, ya habíamos tenido el gusto de ver en la pantalla chica a talentos como Sofía Vergara o William Levy, pero desde hace algún tiempo ¡no habíamos tenido la suerte de ver a nuestro adorado Ricky en la televisión! La buena noticia es que eso está por cambiar, pues el puertorriqueño acaba de firmar un contrato con Universal Television, y el cantante aparecerá en las primeras series y programas especiales de la televisora.

My reaction to Anderson Cooper telling the world he is gay? Finally! Also, why did it take him so long? You'll have to read his remarks about it on the Daily Beast to get all the details, but basically he thought that, as a journalist, it didn't really matter who he loved. In other words, what he does in his personal life is nobody's business. I'm with him 100 percent. Whether you're a journalist or not, your sexual orientation should be of no concern to anybody but your self.

However, Cooper is a public figure adored and admired by many and, just like he said, by not acknowledging he is gay, he has "given some the mistaken impression that I am trying to hide something--something that makes me uncomfortable, ashamed or even afraid." And he's totally right.
