Just days after setting off a barrage of racist tweets by singing the national anthem at the NBA Finals, 11-year-old Sebastien De La Cruz earned a standing ovation in an encore performance at Game 4 between the San Antonio Spurs and Miami Heat last night.

A heroic Georgia man has been left paralyzed after recently diving into a creek to save a drowning 4-year-old girl.

Michael Patterson was spending time with his 9-year-old son, Cole, when he heard a woman scream. When he realized her daughter, Jevaeh Jones, had been swept under water by a current, he didn't hesitate before taking action.

Kids can sometimes be troublemakers. It's a fact most people just deal with by punishing them or calling the authorities if necessary...but not 50-year-old Lynn Marie Herzog! The Missouri woman didn't take too kindly to a group of neighborhood kids throwing rocks at her house. In fact, she was so angry about it that she retaliated by donning a ski mask, firing up a chainsaw, and chasing the children off her lawn!

Yikes. OK, maybe that's taking the whole revenge thing a little too far!

That's a gig that would be a lot of pressure for anyone, let alone an 11-year-old, but De La Cruz nailed it. Unfortunately, his amazing display of talent was tainted by an eruption of disgustingly racist tweets that followed his performance.
