A local school board is launching an investigation into Quebec's Cap-Jeunesse High School after staff reportedly strip searched 28 high school students in order to find a cell phone during one of this year's final exams.

Apparently, the students were ordered to put their phones on a desk at the front of the class in order to prevent cheating, but one phone was still unaccounted for. Instead of simply calling the missing cell like any logical person would do however, teachers decided to locate it by asking the sophomores to remove their clothes! What?!

An Oregon woman was choked and raped by a violent ex-boyfriend after a 911 operator reportedly told that there were no officers on duty to help her.  

Apparently, the sheriff's department in her county had just been forced to lay off 23 out of its 29 deputies and the hours of the remaining officers had their shifts cut down to only eight hours, Monday through Friday.  Unfortunately, the woman called on a Saturday in August of last year--which is why, when she tried to explain that her former lover was trying to break into her house, she was transferred to an operator who reportedly responded by asking, "Can you ask him to go away?"

A Virginia couple was left outraged after police officers showed up at their home and questioned whether the dad was really their children's father--all because he had lighter skin!

A new study has revealed that sleeping in bed with your baby raises the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) significantly. Though in America pediatricians have long recommended that babies sleep on their backs in an empty crib, many parents still choose to co-sleep, especially in the early days when night wakings are frequent and everyone is exhausted. But the study suggests that even parents who co-sleep and take measures to lower the risk of SIDS such as breastfeeding and not smoking or drinking, are making an unsafe choice. 

Kaitlyn Hunt is an 18-year-old high school student from Florida and she is in BIG trouble for having a same-sex relationship with a 15-year-old classmate. By all accounts the relationship was consensual, but the parents of the 15-year-old are not having it and the law supports them. Florida law prohibits anyone 18 and over from having sex with someone aged 12 to16.

A new report connected to the Hofstra student shot to death after being confronted by an armed intruder last week, has revealed that the bullet that killed her belonged to the policeman's gun. Andrea Rebello was set to graduate from Hofstra University this past Sunday, until an armed man broke into her off-campus home last week in Long Island changing her life forever.
