New Orleans horrific Mother's Day parade shooting leaves 2 children & 17 adults injured

Mother's Day was ruined for spectators at a Mother's Day parade in New Orleans after a gunman opened fire leaving 19 people injured--including two 10-year-old children. Police have released an image of the man who started firing shots into the crowd through surveillance footage, but the biggest  issue they face is that the footage is grainy and makes him unidentifiable.

Authorities are hoping the public can recognize who the gunman is according to the video released.

It doesn't surprise me at all that the Boston bombing suspects' mother thinks her sons were framed. Zubeidat Tsarnaev, the mother of both Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, told reporters that she believes the tragic incident was all staged and the bombing was fake. Really? So what would explain the three deaths and the more than 200 injured folks? But then again, what mother wants to admit her own children are murderers?

Texas fertilizer plant explosion kills up to 15, blast captured in shocking video

As if we needed any more tragedies in the U.S., a huge explosion at a fertilizer plant rocked the small Texas town of Waco on Wednesday night. The blast caused huge flames and caused serious damage to many buildings and other structures in a five-block radius around the plant (including a school and a nursing home). First reports say there were hundreds hurt, up to 160 according to current counts, and 5 to 15 dead. The blast was so strong that it was heard 40 miles to the north, reports The Washington Post, and registered 2.1 on the richter scale, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

But nothing that I'm saying right now will prepare you for the chilling video of the explosion that was captured by a man who, it seems, was recording the fire from his car a distance away when the blast occurred.

Truth be told: Understanding the Boston Marathon bombings is impossible

Yesterday, an unspeakable tragedy struck the people of Boston and shook the world. The running of the 117th Boston Marathon ended in death and destruction when two bombs exploded near the finish line, killing three and injuring 150. Among the youngest victims who died was an 8-year-old boy, Martin Richard, from Dorchester, Massachusetts.

Martin was at the Boston Marathon, standing alongside his mother and 6-year-old sister, to cheer on his father, William Richard, as he raced in the marathon. Martin ran to greet his father at the finish line when the bombs went off, killing the young boy. His mother and sister were also seriously injured in the explosion. This family did nothing to deserve this horrible tragedy, they just happened to be in the wrong place at the worst time. They were innocent victims.
