Usually, marriage involved two people, but not in the case of Rajo Verma who revealed to the British daily The Sun that she has five husbands. Yep, the 21-year-old Indian woman has five husbands who all happen to be brothers, no less! In the interview, Verma explains that she wed her first husband, 21-year-old Guddu, during an arranged Hindu marriage when she was 18 and later married his brothers, Baiju, 32, Sant Ram, 28, Gopal, 26, and 18-year-old Dinesh.

This unorthodox marriage happened so that Verma could uphold her family's ancient tradition of polyandry, where the woman marries more than one man, and has totally captivated the public. However, the brothers don't seem to mind sharing the same woman since she gives them each undivided attention!

Is it just me or is it a bit strange that this marriage involves six people? Let's be honest, it's exhausting ENOUGH sometimes dealing with one partner let alone six others.  Even the average single woman can't commit to dating that many people at once!

But Verma is no stranger to this old-school method of marriage because her mother also happened to have more than one husband. She tells The Sun: "My mother was also married to three brothers so when I got wed, I knew I had to accept all of them as my husbands."

Although it appears this form of marriage is not as uncommon as we may think, another question that comes to mind is what their sex life must be like. After all, it must be a bit awkward knowing all the brothers are sleeping with the same woman. But Verma assures the daily that they all get equal attention and she doesn't favor one over the other. And the brothers don't seem to mind sharing as first hubby Guddu said there are no hard feelings. "We all have sex with her but I'm not jealous," adding, "We're one big happy family.

Verma also has an 18-month-old son, but she is not certain which of the brothers is the child's biological father. The upside is that this lifestyle has its advantages which Verma is making sure to reap the benefits of. "I get a lot more attention and love than most wives," she said.

Well, she certainly does get a lot more love than the average woman! Although his concept of being married to many men who are all related isn't exactly my cup of tea, it looks like it's working out for Verma, who will never be short of a partner. Although … if I were her, I'd make the brothers get a paternity test to find out who the biological father of the child is. I mean, the real dad should be pulling more weight around the household in that case!
