Disgusting gynecologist accused of videotaping women during examinations

 Going to the gynecologist is an annoying neccessity, but no woman actually enjoys going to one. No matter how much you like your doctor, it's always kind of awkward and uncomfortable to have someone examining down there. That's why I was absolutely horrified and disgusted when I heard of the case of Dr. Nikita Levy, a medic at John Hopkins Medicine who was recently fired after it was discovered that he was filming his patients using a pen camera and other hidden devices.

Hopkins officials fired Levy after learning of his alleged activities in early February. On Monday, two weeks after they learned of his crimes, 54-year-old Levy was found dead in his home from an apparent suicide. It wasn't until after finding him that police revealed the allegations to the public, causing a firestorm in the hospital and particularly among his many female patients, some of whom are now seeking legal action.

Though officers are continuing to examine multiple computer hard drives and servers seized from Levy's home, police have refrained from revealing details about the case because they have not ruled out that others were involved in the capturing or viewing of the images.

Isn't that the most disgusting thing you've ever heard?! The scariest part is that Levy was in practice for more than 20 years. I don't even want to think about how many patients he took advantage of in that time. And to think that others could potentially involved? It's just horrifying to hear, particularly because John Hopkins is supposed to be one of the most reputable hospitals in the country.

Honestly I wouldn't blame the victims of Levy's crimes for seeking legal action, even though he is no longer here to take the fall. After all, they were entrusing someone who was supposed to be a medical professional. The fact that he abused his position for such sick and twisted manner is a violation beyond words.
