By now, everybody has heard of the Steubenville, Ohio rape case that, in recent weeks, has become an issue of national controversy and debate. What started off as a local investigation in a small town back in August has since turned into an explosive scandal--largely because of the hacker group, Anonymous, who made sure the world not only heard of the case, but released personal information of the supposed perpetrators behind it.
And though the trial is not set to begin until February, the situation is only becoming more contentious with Steubenville officials claiming the town is being portrayed unfairly and Anonymous claiming that authorities are conspiring to cover up their beloved athlete's crimes.
