There have been years where I was not able to go home and have Mami's cooking, and those are the years that I always regret. That's why I'm so happy to be spending this Thanksgiving with my family. Spicy Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients:
4 large Russet potatoes, peeled, cut into thirds
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. unsalted butter, softened
1 tbsp. cumin, ground
1 tbsp. onion powder
1 tbsp. garlic, ground
1 1/2 tbsp. ancho chile, ground
2 tsp. sea salt, finely ground
