The Voice is now down to its final 8! Though it was difficult to see any of the incredibly talented 10 contestants go home after such amazing performances last night, America made its choices.

And the remaining 8 are...

With only weeks to go before The Voice finals, the top 10 contestants must have definitely been feeling the pressure when they took the stage tonight. Each vocalist met with both their coaches and their celebrity mentors, who returned to rehearsals in an effort to help guide the singers past this week's round and into the final eight.

And they probably weren't the only ones feeling nervous. Shakira and Usher must have also been feeling heat. With only two members left on each of their teams (as opposed to Blake and Adam's full team of three), America's vote could potentially knock them out of the competition during tomorrow's eliminations!

So how did the finalists do?

And then there were 10! After another round of amazing performances in last night's episode of The Voice,  America has made it's choice and two singers--though very talented-- were sent home. And I have to admit, I was kind of surprised by the final decision!

Big news for all fans of The Voice: Former mentor Christina Aguilera will reportedly be returning to the show next season! 

According to Hollywood Reporter, the singer will be reclaiming her spot for season five after a brief hiatus--which means current coach Shakira will have to forfeit her big red chair!

Hmm…to be honest, I'm not sure how to feel about this. Though I sometimes miss watching Xtina's antics on the show (you gotta admit, she is entertaining), I also have to say I have really enjoyed watching this season's panel of coaches. They have such a fun, laidback vibe!

The live shows continued on The Voice tonight, with the top 12 contestants once again taking the stage for their individual performances. With elimination coming up tomorrow, all of the vocalists gave it their all in order to try and earn American's vote and move on to the next portion of the competition. 

Selena Gomez let everyone know that she is single and ready to mingle during an interview with radio station Boston Kiss 108. The 20-year-old star and her ex Justin Bieber sparked rumors last month after a picture of them kissing (tweeted out by the Biebs himself) left many wondering if they had actually gotten back together.
