I've never been a huge fan of Snooki or either one of her reality TV shows, but after seeing herlatest Us Weekly cover, even I had to admit that she is looking better than ever!

In the magazine, the 25-year-old reveals that she lost an astounding 42 pounds and shows off her amazing new bod while posing in a bikini!  And upon seeing it, I'm seriously finding it hard to believe that it's been less than 6 months since she welcomed her son--not only because Snooki looks super fit and slim (which she does), but also because she looks even more in shape than she did pre-baby!

According to the magazine, the reason Snooki was inspired to lose weight is one I think any mom can relate to. "I lost it for me," she said, "but I also wanted Jionni to know that I can be hot as a mom!" So how did she do it? She says she simply followed a tried-and-true method: amping up her fitness plan and starting a healthier and more nutritious diet. Well, it's clearly working!

But it's honestly more than just her weight loss that has me convinced this is the best Snooki's ever looked. She's also sporting a more natural look when it comes to makeup and is dressing in a matter that is chic, flattering, and a little more grown-up.

Most importantly, she just looks so happy.  Snooki still is--and will always be--well, Snooki …but now, she also has this content glow and a more mature confidence that the world hadn't really seen from her before. After having all those people question her parenting skills before she even gave birth, I'm glad to see her proving them wrong. Motherhood and marriage obviously suit her!
