Shakira's pregnancy finally confirmed...sort of (BREAKING NEWS)

We've just read an exclusive report confirming that Colombian singer Shakira is indeed pregnant from a pretty reliable source (Huffington Post's Voces). Reportedly, the singer, 35, is already 4 months along. Boyfriend Gerard Piqué, 25 is the proud papi and the couple have been dating for just over a year.

After being plagued with pregnancy rumors, HuffPo Voces confirms that they were in touch with a person very, very close to the star, who said that Shaki hadn't wanted to make the news public because she's suffering from a disease that could put her pregnancy at risk (omg, let's hope not!)

According to the HuffPo Voces source, the Colombian star "has a disease that's much more common than people think called toxoplasmosis, so she has to be more careful for herself and the fetus." Nonetheless, the good news is that both Shaki and the baby are in perfect health because "she's being treated by Dr. Victor Gonzalez-Quinteros, one of the best doctors in the country specializing in high-risk pregnancies," says HuffPo Voces.

Even though there's been much speculation about the sex of the baby--a Colombian newspaper just claimed that the singer was definitely having a boy and that she planned on naming him UIises--the famous couple still doesn't know if it's going to be a boy or a girl. The singer just started her 17th week, so it's still impossible to definitevly tell the sex of the baby.

This news makes me—and our entire team—so happy (despite the fact that Shaki herself hasn't confirmed)! We've been going back and forth on whether the rumors that have been circulating the past few weeks have been just rumors or whether the colombiana is actually expecting her first child.
