Actor and Latino hunk, William Levy, took his first turn on the dance floor on tonight's premiere of Dancing With the Stars--and trust me, he did not disappoint!
The Cuban-born star, who is partnered with DWTS veteran Cheryl Burke, put his hips to good use in his cha-cha. Dancing to Pitbull's "International love," Levy absolutely sizzled on the dance floor with his hypnotic moves, even prompting judge Carrie Ann Inaba to thank ABC for her job!
Co-judge Bruno Tonioli was even more excited, standing up and shouting "Ladies and gentleman, Dancing with the Stars presents the hottest package of the season!" We can't say we disagree!
And Levy's Latin roots were evident during the performance and the rehearsals. In a clip aired on tonight's episode, Levy compares the dancing shoes Burke gave him to the zapatos of his abuelita's!
The duo ended up earning a 24 out of the 30, establishing themselves as the team to beat in the competition. Judging from their extremely high score and the roar of the audience, I think it's safe to say they won't be going anywhere for a while. I can't wait to see what they pull off next week!
Other notable performances? Maria Menounos, who co-hosts Extra! with Mario Lopez, fared well with her and partner Derek Hough's cha-cha scoring a 21 out of 30. Disney star Roshon and partner Chelsie Hightower also gained favor with the judges, scoring a 23.
