I love trying out different beauty products, but finding a place to store all those beauty goodies can be a hassle, especially when you don't have a lot of room. I can't even tell you how many times I've fumbled around in my bathroom and bedroom looking for my favorite mascara. 

If I could describe my beauty style in one word it would be: minimalist. I'm the type of person too impatient to put on a full face of makeup so any shortcuts I can take are ideal, which is why I LOVE tinted moisturizer. Whoever came up with the concept of mixing a moisturizer and foundation in one product was a GENIUS.

Thankfully I was lucky enough to try out Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 - Oil-Free ($43) and Covergirl Smoothers SPF 15 Tinted Moisturizer BB Cream ($6), and the results were close. So which product did I favor in the end? Read on to find out!

Whenever I surprise my abuelita with beauty products (or anything for that matter) the first thing she does is stick her nose in it to see how it smells. I, on the other hand,am very, VERY sensitive to scents, so much so that I avoid products or fragrances that by any means resemble the smell of foods. For me, food-scented beauty products literally turn my stomach. I'm sorry, but they just don't lift my spirits the way a plate of rice and beans would.

I was in complete shock (and quite impressed) after see the amazing before-and-after photos that makeup artist Melissa Murphy posted on Instagram of the tons of porn stars she works with.
