I have to admit, when it comes to hair I really relate to Eva Longoria. The Desperate Housewives actress and politically active celeb rarely experiments with hair color, normally sticking to brown and black shades that enhance her natural color. She was recently spotted strolling around West Hollywood with some new, but extremely subtle chestnut brown highlights. And why not? If the color fits, then wear it! Golden and caramel highlights look great against a light brown base. They also tend to illuminate and brighten light and olive complexions, like Jennifer Lopez’s. Ask your stylist to add face framing highlights that get lighter towards the ends. For natural-looking results, request a light or medium brown base.
